Yay! What a couple of productive weeks we've had. I gave him some rice cereal today and he seemed to like it. We tried it a couple times before and he wasn't going for it, but I think I just caught him in the perfect mood. Here is yet another video for the hungry relatives. :)

Micah's vocals
He's got a lot of cute noises he makes. The best by far is his laugh, which I haven't gotten on video yet. Soon, tho. :) Here is one of him talking - taken 3/15/10
And here is his grunt. I'm not exactly sure what the grunt means, but he does it quite a lot. Perhaps, "I am so mildly uncomfortable."

Suckcess!
Yes, I know my last post was when he was under a week old, and now he is over 4 months. A lot has gone on since then, so I will try to make a bunch of posts with what pics and videos we have taken.
Danielle's 3 months at home is up, and its been my turn now for about a month. Micah has far preferred the breast to the bottle(which is understandable), and gave us a bunch of trouble for the first few weeks we tried. However, I am now proud to report that he is finishing up a 4 day course on bottle feeding, and is doing much better. The course's title: The Starvation Technique. Not our first choice in this matter, but we tried everything else we could think of - we have about 10 different types of nipples(silicone, latex, slow flow, high flow, sippy cup, nuk, medela, dr browns, nuby, breastflow, evenflo, and playtex) with various associated bottles. And the winner was..... none of them! Nipples didn't matter, temperature didn't matter, environment, activity, sleepiness, position, mood, it all didn't seem to matter much. He messed up one time and actually ate easily from a bottle when he wasn't paying attention, and I said, "Ahah! You know how to eat, you just don't want to!" Then, under my breath, "@%#&^@$^%@$!" So, we tried just removing mom from the picture totally, and it worked, although there were many tears. But now we are all happy and much better off. So, my first HD video posts(thanks to the FlipVideo presentgivers) - Micah eating from the bottle!
